Report: Michael Jackson Death Ruled Homicide

Despite the Los Angeles Police Department’s attempt to keep Michael Jackson’s autopsy results under wraps, an Associated Press source has confirmed the rumors: the singer’s death was a homicide.
According to a search warrant affidavit unsealed today, the King of Pop’s death was a result of lethal levels of the drug propofol (a.k.a. Diprivan). In the 32-page document, Dr. Conrad Murray revealed that he had been administering 50 mg of the drug nightly to help Jackson sleep. This routine went on for approximately six weeks. Fearing Michael would become addicted, other drugs were later introduced by Murray just days prior to June 25th.
On the morning of his death, Jackson was given another 25 mg of propofol “after repeated demands/requests.”

Humanitarianism seems a bit infectious in Hollywood these days—so infectious that Paris Hilton has caught the bug.

I’m glad that this trend is of the do-good fare, as opposed to the meaningless and detrimental effects of Paris’s past habits.

Clearly this is the summer to get married! Resident Evil couple Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson exchanged vows this past weekend at a small, outdoor ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills.
Where Alyssa Milano opted for Vera Wang, Milla walked down the aisle in
a piece from Temperley London’s Bridal Collection.
Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian were among the 50 guests who attended the wedding, along with the couple’s 20-month-old daughter Ever Gabo.
“They’re a super duper couple. They clearly adore each other,” said Neil Lane, the designer of the pair’s 18k classic gold wedding bands.
The newlyweds are rumored to be working on the latest installment of the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Afterlife.

Despite being seen in public with a flowy outfit, creative camera tricks will not be needed for the HBO show. A rep for the 27-year-old actress insists Paquin is “not pregnant.”
I guess this means the nude scenes can proceed as planned!

Drew Barrymore is having a remarkable year. She’s Just Not That Into You (a film she produced) scored well at the box office, she’s earned an Emmy nod for her role in Grey Gardens and her directorial debut - Whip It! - is set to release this fall. Now she’s added an unfortunate honor to the mix.
Drew has just earned her second Questionable Outfit of the Day in less than two months.
I honestly wasn’t sure she could top the tie-dye leggings/shark hat ensemble, but her belly-exposing/bow-tied look may have succeeded. Let’s see what she comes up with in October…

Billy Ray Cyrus Talks About Miley’s Pole Dancing

Finally, Papa Cyrus speaks out in regards to his daughter’s pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards.
When asked about Miley Cyrus‘s provocative performance (the 16 year-old jumped on top of an ice cream cart, where she danced with the pole attached to it), her dad saw it all as part of the business.
“You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing [and] songwriting. I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinions.”
Is it just me, or does it seem as if he missed that particular performance altogether?

The original American Idol Kelly Clarkson is set to return to her roots.
The “My Life Would Suck Without You” singer, who won the first series of the US TV talent show in 2002, will appear as a guest judge at an audition next week.
A source said: “Kelly is beyond excited to get back to the show that started it all.”
It has also been claimed Kelly and the other current judges—Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi—will be joined by one of the Jonas Brothers to find America’s next pop superstar.
Following the departure of full-time judge Paula Abdul, who is believed to have quit the show over an alleged pay dispute, a series of famous faces have filled her place, including former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, hip-hop artist Mary J. Blige, and “I Kissed a Girl” singer Katy Perry.
The source added: “At this stage it doesn’t look like Paula will be replaced by one person. The celebrity judges are working really well for now.” Other stars linked to the guest judge role include Jennifer Lopez and Shania Twain.
